PhD Completion Fellowships for summer 2013 due April 1st

SBS has a unique opportunity to provide needs-based fellowships of $3000-$5000 for doctoral students who are close to completing all their degree requirements. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS  Ph.D. Completion Fellowships, Summer 2013 Target submission date: April 1, 5:00 p.m. SBS has a unique opportunity to provide needs-based fellowships of $3000-$5000 for doctoral students who are close to completing all their degree requirements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A complete FAFSA or Financial Aid Calculation for International Students 1-page nomination letter from the advisor. The letter must address the nominee's required and preferred qualifications, as well as the feasibility of the timeline for degree completion. 1-page summary of work and timeline for degree completion from the nominee. The summary must include a statement about when the nominee began their doctoral work. A signed promise note regarding summer employment (see attached). 1-page summary of previous funding for nominee's doctoral research. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Letter for nominee that shows his/her employment status for fall, 2013. This could reflect an academic position or some other form of post-doctoral work (e.g., Peace Corps, Fulbright). All components of the application should be contained in one PDF file; applications not submitted as one file will not be reviewed. Please send your application to sbsri@email.arizona.edu.
