WRRC Water Research Grant Proposals-- apply now!

The Water Resources Research Center (WRRC) is now accepting proposals for this year’s federal WRRA 104(b) grants. These grants are for university-based research projects on water-related issues in Arizona. The typical award is $10,000 for one project year (expected dates; September 1, 2026-August 31, 2027). 

The deadline to submit a 104(b) proposal this year is 5:00 pm MST on Monday, March 16, 2026. 

Faculty and Research Personnel may also submit proposals for the 104(g) program, which supports research that is regional or national in scope. 

Both the 104(b) and the 104(g) grants require that there be a 1:1 match of non-federal to federal dollars. These grants are subject to the availability of federal funding and there is the possibility of federal funding and timelines changing from previous years. Check the WRRC website for more information.
