The UA GIFT Center invites you to attend the following Grants for Lunch presentation:
What:    An Insider's View on Environmental (and other) GrantmakingWhen:   Tuesday, September 10, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.Where:  Vine Avenue Annex, Room 102, 1125 N. Vine (SW corner of Helen & Vine)
Bob Berger from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and Stephanie Nichols-Young from the Wilburforce Foundation will discuss their experiences in environmental grantmaking and describe, in general, the different roles they play with their respective foundations as a Program Officer and Trustee.
Topics to be addressed include:
* What goes into developing a foundation strategy?* What are some challenges, issues, and opportunities in working with foundations?* From a foundation perspective, what are the biggest environmental challenges that we're facing locally and nationally?
