Internal Funding Opportunity: Carson Scholars Program (Deadline: 2/10/25)

Carson Scholars is a one-year graduate fellowship dedicated to training students in the art of science communication. The fellowships are designed to support UA graduate students whose research is related to the environment and/or its intersection with social justice and who are interested in communicating science to a broad audience.  Applicants should be in or beyond the second year of their program starting in Fall 2025. Awardees will receive environmental communication training, interdisciplinary professional mentorship, and a $5,000 scholarship over the course of the 2025-26 school year.
