Humane Studies Fellowships in the Humanities & Social Sciences for Conference, Publication, and Sabbatical Support

The Humane Studies Fellowship offers 3 types of support to graduate students: 1) Event Support Grants to hosting in-person and online events, such as research workshops or academic conferences, up to $5K; 2) Humane Studies Fellowships, providing up to $5K to support students with an established publishing record who commit to submitting an article to a leading journal within 6 months; and 3) Graduate Sabbatical Grants provide up to $15K to PhD candidates or postdoctoral fellows to buy out teaching or research responsibilities for a semester. Work in the IHS focus areas will receive priority consideration for all three opportunities.
