American Academy in Berlin
Residential fellowships fund emerging and established scholars, writers, and professionals for independent study in Berlin. Around two dozen Berlin Prizes are conferred annually. Past recipients have included historians, economists, poets, art historians, journalists, legal scholars, anthropologists, musicologists, public policy experts, and writers, among others. Applications are due by September 29th, 2014, at 6pm CET (12 noon EST). Scholars are encouraged to apply online.
