Alexander Cloudt (SGPP) Receives SBSRI Dissertation Research Grant

Congratulations to Alexander Cloudt at the School of Government & Public Policy who received a SBSRI Dissertation Research Grant.

Alexander's research focuses on the psychological development of political ideology and how a developmental approach can offer unique insight into American political opinion.  He is inventing a novel scale to measure one's belief in the specialness of family, where this belief will be an important predictor of the left-right direction of one's authoritarianism, as well as predicting one's attitudes toward nationalism or globalism.
