The Spencer Foundation's Research Grants on Education (Small) Program supports research projects that seek the improvement of education, broadly conceived. The current application cycle closes on September 11, 2024. This program is “field-initiated.” Applications do not need to address or include a particular research topic, discipline, design, method, or location. The foundation's goal for this program is to support rigorous, intellectually ambitious and technically sound research that is relevant to the most pressing questions and compelling opportunities in education. Amount: Up to $50K
Funding Period: 1-5 Years
Eligiblity: Principal Investigators and Co-PIs must have an earned doctorate in an academic discipline or professional field, or appropriate experience in an education research-related profession. While graduate students may be part of the research team, they may not be named the PI or Co-PI on the proposal. Please see the website for further information regarding eligibility requirements.
