Malavika Jinka (Anthropology) Receives SBSRI Dissertation Research Grant

Congratulations to Malavika Jinka at the School of Anthropology who received a SBSRI Dissertation Research Grant.

Malavika's research is situated within the context of indigenous communities being relocated
from their ancestral lands due to tiger conservation efforts by the Indian government. The
research centers on how the impacted communities assert their human agency
and resilience in the face of this relocation in the Nallamala forest region.
