The Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy is offering two fellowship opportunities for the 2016-2017 academic year to support faculty developing external funding proposals. The opportunities are offered in conjunction with the Institute of the Environment (IE), the Office for Research and Discovery (ORD), and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS).
The fellowship sponsored by IE and ORD seeks to fund proposals that will investigate public policy aspects of environmental change. Work examining the human dimensions of environmental change and the value of environmental knowledge in decision making and policy is especially encouraged. The second fellowship, sponsored by SBS and ORD seeks to fund proposals spanning the range of public policy research.
Both fellowships provide $10,000 to cover the cost of teaching responsibilities for a semester, and applicants are required to secure departmental support for their application. Over the course of the fellowship, awardees will work with Research Development Services to develop and submit external proposals. Applications are due April 29, 2016. More information on both opportunities is available here.
