The Carey Institute for Global Good offers a four to twelve week nonfiction residency program to support nonfiction writing on issues of pressing importance. The Carey nonfiction residency aims to address the need for more in-depth reporting in order to inform the policy debates that are crucial to a healthy democratic society. Applications are invited from nonfiction writers, photographers, and documentarians who are interested in working in a variety of media platforms.
Residents are provided with lodging, work space, technological support and opportunities to develop mentorship relationships with Pulitzer Prize winning journalists at the Carey Institute. Pre-applications are due May 15th, 2017. For more information, click here.
