Wenner-Gren's Dissertation Fieldwork Grants fund doctoral or thesis research that advances anthropological knowledge without preference for specific methodologies, locations, themes, or subfields, although proposals integrating approaches and subfields are particularly welcomed. The deadline for Dissertation Research Grants is May 1, 2023 (for project start dates between January 1 and June 30 of the following year) and November 1 (for project start dates between July 1 and December 31, and funding up to $25,000 can be requested.
