Congratulations to Teresa Davis from the English/RCTE program, who received a SBSRI Dissertation Research Grant.

Teresa’s research explores how visual elements can foster belonging in online learning. Using a mixed-methods approach, she examines (in collaboration with instructors, designers, and students) the impact of visuals on students’ sense of belonging. Her project aims to develop guidelines for instructors and designers to create inclusive online environments, contributing to student engagement in virtual learning.
