NSF Announces Funding for Research Related to Hurricane Irma

Given the National Science Foundation's commitment to research that makes broad impacts on society, NSF just announced that they will be accepting proposals that seek to address the challenges related to Hurricane Irma. There are three proposal mechanisms available:
RAPID: Proposals of up to $200K for one year to projects with severe urgency or quick-response research. 
EAGER: Proposals of up to $300K over a maximum of two years for exploratory and potentially transformative research.
Supplements to existing awards: Small amounts for already funded related projects.
