MIS/INSITE Big Data Symposium: October 10th, 2013

UA's Department of Management Information Systems and the INSITE Center for Business Intelligence and Analytics are offering a free symposium on using big data for predictive analytics on Thursday, October 10th, 2013 from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The goal is to help educate audiences on the applications of predictive analytics from big data in various industries, and to discuss open challenges and issues that need further work. Focal areas include: cloud computing, retail, sports, healthcare, and cybersecurity. The symposium will be held in the UA Student Union South Ballroom.
