Humane Studies Fellowships in the Humanities and Social Science for Conference, Publication, and Sabbatical Support

The Humane Studies Fellowship offers three types of support to graduate students, awarded on a rolling basis: (1) Event Support Grants to host in-person and online events, such as research workshops or academic conferences, up to $5,000; (2) Humane Studies Fellowships, providing up to $5,000 to support students with an established publishing record who commit to submitting an article to a leading journal within the next six months; and (3) Graduate Sabbatical Grants provide up to $15,000 to PhD candidates (ABD) or postdoctoral fellows to buy out teaching or research responsibilities for a semester.
