Forum: The UA Defense and Security Institute

A new cross-campus institute is proposed that will enhance UA competitiveness for funding in the broad areas supported by defense and security-related federal agencies and industry. Agencies such as the Department of Defense fund a broad array of research, including neurosciences, materials, information sciences, sensors, environmental, and medical research. UA Faculty input is requested on the structure and function of the institute and how it could best serve faculty needs. Three forums will be held. All are open to anyone on campus.
