The Esther Ngan-ling Chow and Mareyjoyce Green Scholarship (Sociologists for Women in Society)

The Sociologists for Women in Society (SWS) is accepting applications for The Esther Ngan-ling Chow and Mareyjoyce Green Scholarship.The scholarship supports women of color scholars who are from underrepresented groups who are studying concerns that women of color face domestically and/or internationally.

Eligibility:
-Applicant must identify as a woman or non-binary scholar from a racial/ethnic group facing racial discrimination in the U.S.
- Applicant's dissertation must be sociologically relevant scholarship that addresses the concerns of women of color, domestically and/or internationally
-Applicant must be in the early stages of writing a dissertation
-Applicant must be “All But Dissertation” (ABD) by the time the term of the award begins
-Applicant must demonstrate a financial need for the award
-Citizenship: Unrestricted
 
Applications will be accepted no later than April 1, 2022 at 11:59pm ET.
