Confluencenter announces Collaboration and Innovation Grants up to $25K

Nov. 28, 2012

Proposals are due March 1, 2013 at 5:00pm, with eligibility limited to UA faculty who are .5 FTE in COH, CFA or SBS as defined under the general grant guidelines on the Confluencenter website.
Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry invites proposals for innovative scholarly and creative projects that cross disciplinary boundaries and intellectual orientations and that bring together researchers and artists from diverse areas at the University of Arizona. These grants should create and nourish synergistic environments for faculty work, enable faculty to apply for subsequent external funding, and increase the impact and visibility of the research, scholarship, and creative activity at the University of Arizona. Confluencenter’s mission objectives of expanding and facilitating opportunities for funding of interdisciplinary projects and programs across our institution, dynamically identifying valuable emerging scholarly areas of investment, and continuing the design of processes and incentives to maximize collaborative and interdisciplinary research and teaching in our campus community dovetail with the university’s strategic directions.
