Apply Now: CERCLL Faculty Research Fellowships due 3/29/24

March 8, 2024

Award Amount: $5,000.00

Deadline: March 29, 2024

The CERCLL Faculty Fellows program supports scholarly work that examines and develops the teaching of culture, language and literacy, especially within less commonly taught languages. For this competition cycle, CERCLL is particularly interested in applications that focus on research related to AI and critical digital literacy; critical global citizenship and language/culture learning; multimodal/multimedia literacies and LSP practice; and the intersections between language development and intercultural learning. Projects leading to a scholarly publication or a larger grant proposal are especially welcome. Projects outside of the above constraints will also be considered.

Faculty Fellows will create resources that will be shared on the CERCLL website. Examples include sample classroom materials based on the awardee project, white papers, or teacher manuals. Faculty Fellows may also be asked to present a webinar for CERCLL, explaining the grounding of the materials and how to implement them
