Aaron Young (Anthropology) Receives SBSRI Dissertation Research Grant

Congratulations to Aaron Young at the School of Anthropology who received a SBSRI Dissertation Research Grant.

Aaron's research explores how juvenile vulnerability is related to identity among two archaeological groups from the American Southwest and how it differs within and between populations. He is applying an intersectional approach to investigate how biological and social identity variables intersect to influence vulnerability during this critical period of life. Funds from this grant will be used for proteomic analyses of enamel samples to estimate biological sex.
