Dr. Yining Tan (SGDE) Receives Fall 2023 SBSRI Faculty Small Grant

Congratulations to Dr. Yining Tan (School of Geography, Development and Environment) who received a SBSRI Faculty Small Grant.

Dr. Tan's project studies the multi-scalar mobilities of the “zero generation”, who are parents of first-generation immigrants, at transnational, local, and virtual levels, to understand the intergenerational care arrangements across space, and the policy implications to support the care needs of immigrants and their families. The Tucson and Phoenix based project will provide research evidence to build an age-friendly and equitble society in AZ that ensures fair access and opportunities for its older relsidents.
