Description

Through the Minority Student Awards Program the Office of Fellowships offers internships and visiting student awards to increase participation of U.S. minority groups who are underrepresented in Smithsonian scholarly programs, in the disciplines of research conducted at the Institution, and in the museum field. (Click here for more information on Smithsonian areas of research.) Visiting Student Awards are students engaged in graduate study.  Visiting Students pursue independently designed research projects in association with Smithsonian staff.  Students should contact the Office of Fellowships for application information.
