Description

The Smithsonian's Office of Fellowships and Internships offers awards for visiting students that will help to increase participation of U.S. minority groups that are underrepresented in the scholarly programs offered by the Smithsonian, research conducted at the Institution, and in the museum field more generally. The program is geared towards beginning graduate students who want the opportunity to learn about the Smithsonian and their field by conducting research in the Smithsonian collections with a research staff member serving as their advisor.
