Description
Research, Discovery & Innovation (RDI) and the Office of Global Initiatives (OGI) will co-fund these Category 1 grants. They are designed to jump-start and quickly grow either international research done by transdisciplinary collaborations, or the development of new academic programs in collaboration with international partner institutions.
 
Track 1: International Research Initiative,
    Level 1: Large – up to $50K to be spent on activities leading to an external grant proposal for over $1M (direct and indirect costs combined)
    Level 2: Medium – up to $30K to be spent on activities leading to an external grant proposal over $100K and under $1M (direct and indirect costs combined)
 
Track 2: International Academic Program Development, up to $15K to be spent on activities leading to a new international dual degree and/or student mobility initiative
