Scholarships are financial need and are for gay men under 35 years of age. Preference is give to students from or going to rural and underserved regions, who have overcome isues of discrimination, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have demonstrated a strong academic performance. The goal of these programs are to support GLBT health and social service organizations and that support the GLBT community. Priority is given to proposals that provides services in rural or underserved areas. The grant does not support capital campaigns, facilities, endowments, political or religious activities.
