ASEEES has a fund to help publish first books in which make a substantial contribution to Slavic, Eastern European, or Eurasian studies. This award is only for single-authored books written in English and author must be a member of ASEEES. The manuscript must already be accepted by a publisher, with peer-review already completed. The award is open to applicants from all disciplines.

There are two deadlines each year, February 1 and September 1.
