Applicants must be US citizen with Ph.D. or have completed all the requirements for a Ph.D. except the dissertation, be engaged in social sciences / humanities / allied natural sciences research, and seek to conduct research of regional or trans-regional significance in two or more countries outside the United States, one of which must host a participating American overseas research center.
