Description

Priority will be given to those who have not received a WOSAC stipend within the last year. Funding is for individuals traveling to a conference to present a paper. Funds are contingent upon acceptance of the paper. Awardees may be asked to present their papers at a WOSAC event during the Fall semester. The Women's Studies Advisory Council is a member-based community support group of over 200 community women, men, and students who support the Gender and Women's Studies program at the University of Arizona. A committee composed of Gender and  Women's Studies faculty, a WOSAC Board member, and a Women's Studies graduate student will evaluate proposals.
