The Committee will allocate funds to Mini Grants that include but are not limited to: 1) Increasing the percentage of renewable energy used at the University of Arizona; 2) Improving energy efficiency; 3) Increasing outdoor and indoor water efficiency; 4) Reducing the amount of waste generated by the University of Arizona; and 5) Education, research and outreach initiatives directly related to environmental sustainability of the University of Arizona. Mini Grant proposals are accepted September 1st to April 1st. Mini Grants specifically address off-cycle, time sensitive projects that occur on the University of Arizona campus.
