We welcome proposals to explore how new research in psychology, neuroscience, anthropology, and primatology are challenging our understanding of religious experience and moral and ethical identity. Our field of inquiry puts the human sciences in relation to theology and philosophy as they bear on our topic. We seek applications from scholars interested in the nature of religious experience and moral identity, particularly with regard to the development of virtues and vices. Applicants for the Research Fellowships should be in full-time tenured or tenure-track positions at an accredited higher education institution and should be pursuing a research project which is relevant to the inquiry and open to interdisciplinary discussion in theology, philosophy, and the natural and human sciences.
